Jeff Bird

Jeff Bird (JD, CLU) was the co-founder of Hope Academy (with Russ Gregg), where he served as Board President from 2000–2019. He grew up on a farm near Marcus, Iowa and has also started the Hope Farm School.

Since 1989, Jeff has worked with NBW Insurance (formerly The Brehm Group, later MBW Group), which merged with Winged Keel Group in 2025. He is now a Principal at Winged Keel and co-head of its Minneapolis office, with over twenty years overseeing life insurance product studies and deep experience in insurance transactions and wealth transfer strategies.

Mr. Bird has previously served on the boards of the Pilgrim Center for Reconciliation, The Gospel Association of India, and Total Victory Christian Center. He enjoys mentoring youth and leading a men’s weekly Bible study group. Jeff is married with six children and lives in Minneapolis.
