Michael Bolland

Michael serves as Managing Director of Spreading Hope Network, helping leaders launch and grow urban classical Christian schools that bring lasting hope to children, families, and communities.

He helps turn vision into action by building healthy systems, leading operations, and supporting founders as they grow sustainable schools. Michael brings experience across ministry, education, coaching, and organizational leadership, with a heart for helping mission-driven teams flourish with clarity and purpose. His leadership approach has also been shaped by training in the Entrepreneurial Operating System framework, which has deepened his strengths in execution, accountability, and team alignment.

Earlier in his career, Michael completed an intensive leadership development program through Hope Community Church within a church-planting environment, receiving graduate-level formation in ministry, leadership, and disciple-making.

Michael is well-versed in the Hope Academy model, having served in multiple roles with Hope Academy as a tutor, coach, volunteer, and full-time middle school teacher, giving him firsthand experience in the power of Christ-centered education.

He holds a B.S. in Mathematics Education from University of Minnesota and lives in the Twin Cities with his wife, Alicyn, and their son.
